As Managing Partner of Brandolino Investment Group, LLC, James Brandolino is a seasoned trader and fund manager who maintains memberships and floor-trading privileges at the Chicago Board of Trade, New York Board of Trade, and NYSE Liffe U.S. His deep technical knowledge and inventive trading approach have made him a highly-demanded commodity in his own right among both investors and peers.
Mr. Brandolino began his investment career in 1988 as a trading clerk for Tenco on the grain floor at the Chicago Board of Trade where he first began honing his market sense and disciplines. He rose quickly through the ranks and was hired by Charles Schwab & Company in 1992, first as a general securities trader, and then promoted to an options trader. In this role he also became a liaison between company clients and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. By 1995, he became the Director of Trading and Customer Support with MF Global, a leading international financial services firm.
The apex of Mr. Brandolino's vision as an independent trader was formed through his advanced technical expertise and market insight for recognizing repetitive price patterns. He founded the proprietary trading groups LLoyd Lewis Capital and Falcon Trading Group. Focused on continued growth, he assembled a small team and created Brandolino Investment Group, a boutique alternative asset management firm formed to manage and trade outside client capital.
Mr. Brandolino's passion for trading is further illuminated by his exceptional ability to add "real value" to investors by clearly explaining trading ideology from a unique perspective. He is currently authoring a book entitled Train To Trade: What Pros Do Differently.
A graduate from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College in Finance, Edward Allen's financial expertise was first developed in banking at Citigroup in New York more than 13 years ago as a Risk Management Analyst for Citibank's foreign exchange options group.
Mr. Allen began working in the trading industry three years later in 1999 at Rayner Stonington for their Relative Value Options Fund, a $100 million dollar hedge fund founded by former Goldman Sachs Partner, Herbert Coyne. In June 2001 he became a Global Macro Fund Manager for Standard Bank Asset Management, a multi-billion dollar asset management company. Allen left Standard for the elite opportunity to work with the author of "Street Smarts", Laurence Connors, in the founding and asset management of Connors Capital, LLC, a Los Angeles based fund manager and market research firm.
Allen's expertise has since been called upon in management and partnership roles. Most recently in the area of independent business development at Pinstripe Capital, where he managed a $100 million portfolio and as managing partner for the SA Financial Group. His analysis of global markets has often been called upon for broadcast by CNBC, Fox News and Bloomberg Television.
After 20 years as a mortgage broker and owner of her own firm, Brenda McNeil decided to close her business, McNeil Financial Group. After selling the Forest Park, Illinois-based business to the manager of the Lake in the Hills office, McNeil left retirement to join Brandolino Investment Group LLC as director of sales.
As a broker obtaining contracts for clients, McNeil dealt with major mortgage houses such as Bank of America; Citibank; SunTrust; Wells Fargo; Washington Mutual and Countrywide. The company maintained home headquarters in Forest Park, Illinois and opened an additional office for client convenience in Lake in the Hills in 2000. While her mortgage firm was in operation, Ms. McNeil was responsible for the supervision of a sales force of 13 loan officers, three loan processors and one manager. This was in addition to the daily operations management and personal production.
